Job hunting is not easy. Neither is finding great candidates for open positions. As a recruiter, my role is to work alongside candidates, internal talent acquisition, and hiring managers every day to help bridge these connections and to resolve job-related pains. I’ve been doing this at BRC for two years, and for 15 years total here in the Triangle area.
There is a great deal of recruiting industry misinformation out there, as well as a number of significant communication gaps between job seekers and folks who are looking to hire. Those are just a couple of the reasons we at BRC recently decided to launch a podcast entitled, “Raise Your Revenue!” Why that name? Well, because our goal is to help job seekers better understand how to more effectively raise their own revenue (new/better job = income improvement), while at the same time helping companies hire fantastic team members who will help boost revenue, either directly (sales and marketing personnel, for example) or indirectly (a stronger overall team = improved company growth).
Every two weeks or so, we’ll share some helpful information for either one or both group(s). The episodes will be short (5-7 minutes), so you can listen in on your way to work or whenever you have a few minutes. We’ll compile the series on our website, and you’ll be able to find them in iTunes or via your preferred podcast app.
